Northeastern Adventist Academy – Long Island Campus also known as Bethesda Junior Academy, is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide a spiritually oriented education system for children. A belief in the existence of the Creator, God is fundamental in the philosophy of SDA schools.

Here at the Northeastern Adventist Academy – Long Island Campus, faith and learning unite in embracing and following the MASTER’S Plan. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11.

1. What does we do?
Our school is dedicated to teaching students through positive learning experiences so that they will be successful at the elementary school. We believe the unique learning styles of students should be considered when planning and implementing learning activities.
I want to thank all teachers who do their best to provide our children with qualitative and useful knowledge. They perfectly mix education and play, and children are very satisfied with such approach to lessons. My daughter is a graduate and she is ready to study in elementary school.
Our elementary school helps each boy and girl to become a responsible and independent student, one who is a creative thinker, respectful of himself and others, and appreciative of the differences amongst people.

Established

Bethesda Elementary School was established in 1972 because of the growing concern to provide. Christian education for the children of the church and community.

House of Mercy

The name Bethesda, which means ‘House of Mercy’, was chosen as the name for the school at the time.

2006

Name change

It was changed in 2006 to Bethesda Junior Academy when grades 9 and 10 where added moving the school to Junior Academy status. Professional staff members hold credentials from both Atlantic Union, New York State agencies, and internationally.

The Bethesda Junior Academy

The Bethesda Junior Academy is nested in a caring and nurturing environment, and provides the academic program that addresses the needs of the students from Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade. Core subjects are taught at all levels, also include: Bible, Music, Health, and Physical Education, Computer Technology and Foreign Languages.

NAA - Long Island Campus

In 2022, Bethesda Junior Academy has become now known as Northeastern Adventist Academy – Long Island Campus. It has added English Language Arts, Spanish, French, Science, Robotics, S.T.E.A.M, and Praise Dance/American Sign Language to its curriculum.
